NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. Road work currently alters traffic flow on both sides of North Avenue near Fifth Avenue and Coligni Avenue.
Construction equipment and cones sit in the middle of the roadway, detouring drivers to the farthest right lane northbound, and into the parking spaces along the southbound side of the road.
Workers stand on both sides of the roadway directing traffic with stop and slow signs. "Men Working" flags are also placed.
