NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Incoming freshman Iona College students will have improved dorms this coming school year, thanks to summer cleaning being done on dorm roofs Tuesday.

A crane truck has been positioned in the southbound lane of North Avenue as workers clear debris from the roofs. Work is also being done on other parts of the property.

Work has been going on over the past several weeks as the school prepares the dorms for the start of the upcoming school year on Aug. 28.
