NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - There was a robbery in front of 85 Grove Avenue 12:50 a.m Tuesday morning. A man was walking back from a store on Huguenot Street when he was jumped from behind by three male African-Americans. They punched and kicked him to the ground, took the mans wallet and cellphone. The wallet contained credit card and about $200.
At 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, a black male of about 30 years of age, wearing a black shirt and shorts with an orange shirt draped over his chest, pulled out a handgun and ordered two female and one male to turn over their property, which include a cellphone, car keys, a handbag and wallet. One of the females was ordered to take off her shorts and return them to him, which contained her cellphone, keys, and $700. The thief fled westbound on Horton Avenue.
A burglary occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Monday night and Tuesday morning at 6:46 a.m. at a gas station off Pelham Road. Someone used the bathroom on the side of the building and bore a hole into the side of the store big enough for the trespasser to enter the main service station. From there, the thief took $1488 from the register. No signs of forced entry to discovered at the bathroom or storefront.
