Plenty on Tap This Week in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle residents planning out their week can check here for a look at some of the things going on in the city. 

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for the Beach Bar at Hudson Park 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

The Municipal Arts Commission also meets from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Billy and the Showmen headline the Emil Paolucci summer concert series at Hudson Park Wednesday, taking the band shell stage at 7 p.m. 

The “Wizard of Oz” will be shown on the library green at sundown Thursday following a costume parade and contest that begins at 7:30 p.m. 

The P.L.A.Y. Program will again be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. at Columbus Elementary School Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

Community Markets make another visit to Friday’s Farmers Market from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. That night there will be “Yoga on the Green,” sponsored by Westchester Yoga Arts. Classes are offered at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. 

The Westchester Mobile Shredder makes another appearance on Saturday at City Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Up to 10" x 12" x 15" file boxes of personal and confidential documents are accepted.
