Plenty on Tap This Week in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Those planning out their week can check here for a look at some of the things going on in the city.

Cynthia Holiday is the featured artist at this week’s Summer Sounds Concert series at the Hudson Park Band Shell at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Fairfield Counts Big Band will come to town for a 7:30 p.m. Thursday show as part of the New Rochelle Business Improvement District’s Music on the Green summer program. Attendees can also take dance lessons from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

There will be more activity on the Library Green Friday with the weekly farmers market from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Later that night there will be “Yoga on the Green,” sponsored by Westchester Yoga Arts. Two classes are offered – 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.

A meeting of the Historical and Landmark Review Board scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled.

The City Council is next scheduled to meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19.
