NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Drivers were forced to come to a crawl on Huguenot Street on Friday afternoon to avoid a crane in the middle of the New Rochelle roadway.

The crane's base takes up two lof the road's three lanes and drivers had to use the left lane to pass.

A painter was using the crane to paint the top of a one-story building just north of the split with Main Street.
