NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Drivers using North Avenue in New Rochelle can travel under new and improved conditions now that workers have resurfaced parts of the road.

Northbound and southbound drivers will still need to slow down while workers paint yellow and white lane markers in the middle of the new surface.

Sections from the Wykagyl Shopping Center to the Wykagyl Country Club are included in the city's roadway resurfacing project.

Workers took the pavement off this section and the section from New Rochelle High School to Eastchester Road over the weekend.
