The fourth annual “Ring in the New Year” festivities begin Tuesday, Dec. 31. This family-friendly event, co-sponsored by the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District, begins at 10:30 a.m. and features face painting, arts and crafts, martial arts, sports demonstrations, snacks, clowns, magicians and games. Marianne Sussman, the 325th Anniversary chair, and committee members will join radio personality Jimmy Fink of 107.1 The Peak to ring in 2014 in true Times Square fashion with the release of thousands of festive, brightly-colored balloons.

Mementos of the anniversary year will be available at the event including the full-color Commemorative Journal for $15 and a poster by internationally-acclaimed artist Charles Fazzino for $10.
