NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - How many of you readers know that singer and actress Teresa Brewer had four daughters who attended the Ursuline School?

Brewer married William Monahan in 1949. She later divorced him and married Bob Thiele in 1972. The two lived on Pinebrook Boulevard. Brewer passed away at her New Rochelle home four years ago on October 17, 2007.

Prior to this, Brewer declined a seven year contract with Paramount Pictures because of her interest to remain in the Queen City of the Sound and raise a family.
