NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., - The City of New Rochelle will hold a candelight remembrance ceremony at 8 p.m. Sunday September 11 on the front lawn of City Hall, to observe the day's 10th anniversary.
A somber march will start at the Armory, beginning at 7 p.m. (270 Main Street) after a short ceremony which will include a march of police, and fire and drum corps to city hall by way of Huguenot Street and North Avenue.
All are invited to join both. Participants of the preceding procession will be given flags to carry in honor of ones lost.
The memorial event is made possible through the efforts by the Police and Fire Departments, the Offices of the Mayor and City Manager, and the United Veterans Memorial and Patriotic Association.

In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Council Chamber of City Hall.
