NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle drivers were busy buying gas Wednesday while the city tried to recover from Hurricane Sandy.

Gas was available at the Gulf station at North and Fifth Avenues. Drivers were also seen filling up at the Gulf Station between Main and Huguenot Streets, Getty Gas on North Ave. and Sunergy Gas located at 680 Main St.

The Mobil Gas Station, 657 North Ave., cannot pump any gas because of a power outage.
