New Rochelle Street Fair Set for September

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.-- New Rochelle’s 325th Anniversary celebration continues  with a Street Fair on Main Street on Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The New Rochelle Street Fair is part of the year long celebration of the city's 325th anniversary.

The fair will feature games, food, arts and crafts and live entertainment for all ages. Vendor space is still available for New Rochelle-based crafters, artists, retailers, food vendors and businesses for just $50 and community groups at just $25.

“This fair is an opportunity for residents of all ages to come out for a day of fun, right in the heart of downtown New Rochelle,” 325th Anniversary Chair Marianne Sussman said in a statement. “Also, it’s the perfect venue for individuals, businesses, organizations and not-for profits to showcase their goods and services to thousands of residents and visitors.”

During the fair, Main Street will be closed from Centre to North avenues beginning at 7 a.m. for setup; however, cross streets will remain open throughout the day.
