New Rochelle School Budget Passes

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - New Rochelle voters approved the schools budget with a healthy margin, according to unofficial results on the school district's website.

The one vacancy on the school board this year was contested by two people. Pamela Davis received more votes than Robert Cox, Patch reported. According to unofficial results, Davis received 2,019 votes to Cox's 1,402.

Also, the budget for the New Rochelle Public Library was  approved, according to unofficial results, by a margin of 2,084 votes to 904.
