New Rochelle To Provide Free Holiday Parking

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – In an effort to benefit local businesses and promote shopping in New Rochelle this holiday season, the city council approved free parking through the end of the year.

Free holiday parking will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, from Friday, Nov. 28 through New Year's Day. It does not extend to the New Roc City Parking Garage, the New Rochelle Transit Center or permit parking areas.

The City Council unanimously approved – except for Councilman Albert Tarantino, who was absent – a resolution allowing free holiday parking from Friday, Nov. 28 through New Years Day, when normal parking enforcement will continue.

Free parking will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It does not extend to the New Roc City Parking Garage, the New Rochelle Transit Center or any of the city's permit parking areas.
