NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. A 19-year-old Port Chester resident is in serious but stable condition at Sound Shore Medical Center after he was stabbed and robbed of his cell phone during a Sunday morning robbery, according to New Rochelle Captain and Public Information Officer Joseph Schaller.
The victim was walking in the vicinity of Beechmont Drive and Pinebrook Boulevard around 10 a.m. when he was stabbed in his left upper rear torso, and deprived of his $30 cell phone, Schaller said.
Police learned of the incident at the medical center where they found the man and his 21-year-old cousin who picked him up and brought him to the hospital.
No arrests have been made.
