New Rochelle Police Increase Memorial Day Patrols

NEW ROCHELLE. N.Y. – The New Rochelle Police Department will be stepping up patrols for Memorial Day weekend, Sgt. Myron Joseph said.

The department will have checkpoints at various locations throughout New Rochelle, he said, and extra patrols will also be out to create a safe environment throughout the Queen City of the Sound.

Police will also be enforcing the New Rochelle buckle up seat belt campaign until June 4 to help ensure that drivers and passengers wear seatbelts.
