New Rochelle League Airs Interviews With Officials

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Iona College faculty members and Westchester County legislators are the next guests on the New Rochelle League of Women Voters cable interview program “City People and Issues.”

Three Iona faculty members will discuss Iona's “Faithful Citizen,” series for students and the public. Two county legislators will discuss the relationship between local and county governments, and issues relating to New Rochelle.

The programs featuring Iona interim dean Dr. Jeanne Zaino, political science chair Dr. Tricia Mulligan, and Ann Heekins, religious studies visiting assistant professor and county Legislators James Maisano and Sheila Marcotte air Mondays at 7 p.m., and Wednesday and Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. The programs will rotate every other week.

The Iona faculty program will be shown Mondays, Oct. 1, 15, and 29, at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 3, 4, 17, 18, 31 and Nov. 1.   

The Maisano and Marcotte will be aired Mondays, October 8 and 22 at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. on October 10, 11, 24, and 26.

The New Rochelle league public relations chair hosts the programs in NRTV studio in New Rochelle City Hall.
