New Rochelle Council Votes Down Echo Bay Proposal

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle City Council voted on Tuesday, Nov. 26, to oppose Forest City Residential's development plans for Echo Bay, according to LoHud.com.

Forest City had long proposed a development of residential and commercial space on what is now the city's maintenance yard. The only vote in favor of the development came from New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, LoHud.com reported.
