New Rochelle Construction Detour Now Clear

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — The right northbound lane on North Avenue near the Iona College dorms heading toward New Rochelle City Hall is now clear.

Part of the lane was previously blocked as a crew worked on improving the dorms. 

Drivers can now travel in both lanes after they had to move over to the left lane of the avenue.

A crane truck currently sits on dorm property.

According to several reports, traffic was moving less than 25 mph from the Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford to east of the Bronx River Parkway in West Harrison.

Saw Mill River Parkway Crash In Elmsford Slows Traffic Tuesday

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Two lanes southbound on the Saw Mill River Parkway were blocked Tuesday evening due to a multiple car accident on just south of Exit 20 near the I-287 in Elmsford.

The right lanes in both northbound and southbound directions of the parkway were closed around 5 p.m. with emergency vehicles on the scene.
