NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Former New Rochelle High School boys’ basketball coach Jim Bostic is organizing a reunion of former Huguenots’ players and coaches who played from 1982-2000 for an event scheduled for March 17.

“At the insistence of some of my former players, we are hosting a reunion of players from the glory years,” said Bostic, who is the Executive Director of the Nepperhan Community Center in Yonkers.

Bostic, who coached the Huguenots from 1980-1988 after a professional basketball career, is joining with former coaches Calvin Sampson, Nat Harris and Theo Nardone to host the event. Harris was Bostic’s assistant and followed him as head coach in 1989. Sampson took over from Harris in the mid-1990s and Nardone followed Harris and coached through 2000.

The reunion will be held at the Nepperhan Community Center, 342 Warburton Ave. in Yonkers. Light refreshments will be served.

Those former players interested in attending may RSVP by telephone at 914-965-0203 or by email ncc_jim@yahoo.com.
