The city also posted a new number to call and report downed trees. Residents are advised to call the Department of Public Works' 24-hour hotline at 914-740-6118.

During the storm, emergency services will respond to calls concerning life, safety and health, as conditions permit. Please do not call 911 for assistance with property damage or flooding.
