NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Jazz salsa band Grupa Latin Vibe headlines the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District’s first of three concerts on the New Rochelle Public Library green Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
“The New Rochelle BID invites you to downtown New Rochelle this Thursday evening to enjoy great salsa and jazz music al fresco and free at (the) library Green,” said BID Executive Director Ralph DiBart. “If this great Latin beat moves you, get out there and dance,” he said. “Bring your lawn chairs and picnic dinners, or better yet, after the concert, continue the evening at one of downtown’s terrific restaurants.”
If it rains, the concert will be held indoors in the library's Ossie Davis Theater on a first-come, first-served basis in the 145-seat theater, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The event is made possible by the BID, in cooperation with the city Department of Parks and Recreation and the library.
