New Rochelle Announces Revised Concert Schedule

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle residents still wishing they could see free concerts that were canceled in the New Rochelle Art Association's Emil Paolucci Summer Sounds Concert Series will get their opportunity thanks to a revised schedule.

The New Rochelle Opera is still the headliner Wednesday at the Hudson Park bandshell from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Metro Med is helping to fund the show.

The Virgil Scott 17 Piece Big Band performance originally scheduled for Aug. 1 plays Aug. 20. 3D Rimo de Vida, originally scheduled for July 18, plays Sept. 5.

The Showtime Dance Band, which plays Motown, R&B, soul, funk, classic disco, pop, dance rock and jazz, plays Aug. 15.

Andrea and James Rohlehr and the And Jam Band, featuring five musicians performing original and popular favorites, plays Aug 22.

Alive ’N’ Kickin’ plays hits from every era and genre, including Broadway and international favorites, on Aug. 29.
