Wilberto Reyes, the 64-year-old man who missing from the Ulster County town of Lloyd, was located safely in Maryland late Thursday morning, authorities said.

Reyes is returning to his family, authorities added, while thanking those who shared the alert.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services has issued an alert for a missing 64-year-old man in the Hudson Valley that has been designated as “vulnerable.”

On Thursday morning, a “missing person” report was issued for 64-year-old Highland resident Wilberto Reyes, who is suffering from diabetes and may be disoriented and in need of medical attention, according to The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

Reyes was last seen at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8 in the town of Lloyd, driving a 2002 brown Dodge Caravan. He was last spotted wearing gray jogging pants, a white t-shirt, black and white checkered jacket with a gray hood. He wasn’t wearing socks and was in black sneakers. He has been described as a 5-foot 8-inch, 202-pound white male with black hair and gray eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Reyes’ whereabouts can contact state police in Highland at (845) 691-2922 or 911. 

The alert includes Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange as well as Columbia, Greene, Sullivan and Ulster counties.
