Metro-North New Haven Line customers traveling into and out of Grand Central Terminal experienced residual delays due to earlier police department activity in the Park Avenue Tunnel, during the Friday evening commute Metro-North said.
There were initial delays of 30 minutes on the New Haven Line.
Harlem Line customers had been experiencing half-hour delays for the same reason before normal service was restored around 3:30 p.m.
The Hudson Line is operating on schedule.
