The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 41-year-old Trevor Bridle, who has reported an address change to a residence on French Ridge in New Rochelle.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Bridle a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” He has also been designated for lifetime registration, though he is subject to petition for relief.
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Bridle had sexual contact with his 10-year-old victim in Peekskill in October 1997, and he was convicted of first-degree attempted sexual abuse in May the following year and sentenced to a term of between two and four years in state prison. Bridle is now under the jurisdiction of the New Rochelle City Police Department.
