NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle City Historian Barbara Davis and the City of New Rochelle School District's Superintendent Richard Organisciak will be guests on the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle's cable show entitled “City People and Issues” at 7 p.m. Mondays, 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 9:30 p.m. Thursdays on channel 76. Programs will rotate every other week.
Davis, who will be interviewed by Haina Just-Michael will describe important women in New Rochelle’s history, including special programs that are scheduled to take place at the New Rochelle Public Library, and other locations in honor of Women’s History Month, which begins Thursday.
The program will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, along with March 12 and 26, as well as at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 29, March 1, 14, 15, 28 and 29.
Organisciak will discuss issues facing the City of New Rochelle School District as it prepares its budget while facing a tax cap, state and federal mandates and the need to prepare students for a globalized world.
Ina Aronow hosts this program, scheduled to be shown at 7 p.m. March 5 and 19, as well as at 9:30 p.m. March 7, 8, 21 and 22.
