Historic New Rochelle Rowing Club Building Torn Down

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The historic New Rochelle Rowing Club building at Hudson Park was recently demolished, News 12 Westchester reported.

Club members tried to save the 130-year-old building, but city officials said the building was unsafe after being damaged by Hurricane Sandy, according to News 12 Westchester.

There are no immediate plans for the now-vacant lot, News 12 Westchester reported.
