Donate Blood In Hawthorne, New Rochelle Or White Plains In January

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Blood drives will be held in New Rochelle, Hawthorne and White Plains in observance of National Blood Donor Month.

The White Plains blood drives will be held on Jan. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the White Plains Presbyterian Church, 39 N. Broadway, and again on Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Iona College, 715 North Ave.

The New Rochelle drive will be held in Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of Holy Name of Jesus, located at 75 Lispenard Ave.

The Hawthorne blood drive will be on Jan. 19 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross, located at 40 Saw Mill River Road, Upper Level 3.  

A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
