Connecticut Police Locate Car Possibly Linked To Threat Against Obama

HAMDEN, Conn. -- Police located a car in Hamden, Conn., Friday night that may have been connected to a threat against President Obama, according to several reports.

The car was found late Friday. A State Police official said police were working with the Secret Service to track down a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta,

A statement released by the Secret Service said the agency was searching for “a potentially suspicious person and vehicle,” but would not confirm whether the vehicle was located.

Obama was in New Rochelle and Purchase for fundraisers on Friday before wrapping up the day in Rhode Island. He will be returning to Westchester on Saturday to attend a wedding in Pocantico Hills.
