Cars Line Up At New Rochelle Gas Stations

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle drivers were busy lining up to buy gas Thursday while the city continued its recovery efforts from Hurricane Sandy.

Police officers directed traffic on Huguenot Street as drivers waited their turn at the Sunergy Gas Station, 680 Main St. Vehicles were seen lined up all the way to Weyman Avenue.

Gas was also available at the Gulf station at North and Fifth avenues. Drivers were also seen filling up at the Gulf Station between Main and Huguenot streets as well as at the Getty Gas farther down the road.

The Mobil Gas Station, 657 North Ave., still cannot pump gas, but cars were seen in the station's parking lot.
