Benefit For New Rochelle Veteran Set For Saturday

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Habitat For Humanity of Westchester is helping a veteran and his family return to their home.

Habitat Executive Director Jim Killoran has organized a benefit to help Army Ranger veteran Anthony DiPietro and his family restore and return to their three-family home at 53 Beechwood Ave. after it was damaged by a fire in the spring.

“This is about the services someone helped us with, and helping him,” Killoran said.

The event will be held at American Legion Post 8, 112 North Ave., New Rochelle, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.

A donation of $25 is suggested. Food, music and fun will be provided.

Checks may be made out to Habitat for Humanity of Westchester, 524 Main St., New Rochelle, NY 10801.

All proceeds will go to help DiPietro and his family rebuild their home.

Those with questions can reach Killoran at 914-403-4821.
