“We’re changing the way healthcare is delivered," said Laura Forese, president of NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System. "Our new relationships offer opportunities to bring access to our world-class services in New York to the local communities.”

To recognize the investment NewYork-Presbyterian has made in Westchester, the Westchester County Association hosted a special reception June 18 at the Westchester Country Club, attended by key political leaders and health care and business executives, according to a press release.

WCA Chairman William Mooney Jr., thanked NY-P officials for their commitment.

“Thank you for creating jobs here, and thank you for your confidence in Westchester,” he said, according to a press release. “Our entire community appreciates your bringing world-class healthcare to Westchester County.”

Mooney noted that the WCA looked forward to a continued and collaborative relationship with the NewYork-Presbyterian network of hospitals, continuing care facilities and specialty institutes — on issues affecting the healthcare sector, the largest economic engine in the Westchester region, according to a press release.

The reception was hosted by the WCA and its Hudson Valley Healthcare Consortium, which strive to keep Westchester County and the region ahead of the rapidly changing health care curve, according to a press release.
