NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - This week’s Pet of the Week can be adopted from the New Rochelle Humane Society.
Tom is one of many kittens that are arriving daily at the society. This 8-week-old brown tabby was born to a neighborhood cat. Tom fortunately was rescued, has been vaccinated and is now ready for adoption.
Tom’s mom was a feral cat not comfortable with humans and has been spayed, vaccinated and returned to the area, where neighbors feed her and provide shelter for her.
Tom’s adoption fee is $90 and includes his neuter and vaccines up to date. Micro chipping, a carrier, food and collar with ID tag are included with all adoptions.
The society is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily except for Thursday, when its hours are 2-8 p.m.
