New Rochelle's Webster School Hosts Black History Event

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Daniel Webster Elementary School in New Rochelle is celebrating Black History Month today with an evening of poetry and performances beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the school, located at 95 Glenmore Drive.

The event features original poetry by Webster students and performances by the Webster Twirlers.

Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Laura Bowmon of the Poets Corner and poet John Robertson will serve as special guest speakers.  

Admission to this PTA event is $8 for PTA members and $10 at the door. Admission for children ages 4 and younger is free.

Fees cover entertainment, dinner, beverages and dessert.
