Sills has volunteered with the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence, FSW’s Sharing Shelf program and served as the Barnard Early Childhood Center PTA President. Sills is currently a librarian at Riverdale Country School and is a contributing member of the Sills Family Foundation.
“Sills' appointment to the board further enhances the broad perspective and wealth of knowledge our board brings to FSW,” said Susan B. Wayne, president and CEO of FSW. “With her background in early education and passion for enrichment in underserved communities, she is a welcome addition to our team.”
FSW was founded in 1954 and runs more than 50 social service and mental health programs for all ages, including Head Start, Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Sharing Shelf.
