New Rochelle's Amorosano, 84, Honored Friday

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Longtime New Rochelle resident, Liselotte Amorosano died Feb. 14. She was 84.

Born April 21, 1927 in Wertheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hermann and Frieda Steck. Amorosano worked as a travel agent in New Rochelle and New York City for many years.

She is survived by her children Rosita Carey, Susan Pierce, Peter Steck, Ken Amorosano and Thomas Amorosano, 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Amorosano was predeceased by her daughters Cheryl Gentile and Sandra Lanefski.

Visiting is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Holy Name Church, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
