The Holy Name Society of St. Joseph’s Church in New Rochelle is scheduled to host the dance beginning at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Church Hall at 280 Washington Ave. in New Rochelle. Entertainment will be provided by “The Baron’s” and Gene DiNapoli and his “Bronx Bomber” Tribute Show, according to the release.
The Holy Name Society will honor West New Rochelle native Nick Trotta at the dinner "in recognition of his exemplary career with the United States Secret Service," according to the release.
"Mr. Trotta served 30 years with the Secret Service, in various assignments, such as Investigator, Training Instructor, Inspector, Special Agent In Charge of Presidential Protection, and ultimately, as Assistant Director for the Office of Protective Operations," representatives said in the release. "Mr. Trotta had the privilege of serving under Presidents Ronald Reagan through Barack Obama, retiring from service in 2011."
Trotta is an Alumnus of Salesian High School and Iona College, both in New Rochelle.
