NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Bar Association honored Janet DiFiore, Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals, at the April 21 annual Court of Appeals Dinner.

The event drew scores of dignitaries and honored guests to the Fountainhead on Quaker Ridge Road in New Rochelle.

Among them were Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam, of the Court of Appeals, guest speaker, and her colleagues, Michael Garcia and Jenny Rivera.

Also in attendance were former Associate Judges Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick and Robert Smith.

Frank Nicolai, former Administrative Judge, Ninth Judicial District – retired, introduced DiFiore and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson presented her with the Keys to the City.
