New Rochelle Chamber Honors Women of Excellence

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce recently honored four community members at its 12th annual Women of Excellence Award Dinner at Beckwith Pointe.

This year’s honorees were:

  • Jackie Agudelo of United Community Center of Westchester won the Humanitarian Award.
  • Maria Jose, past Rotary Club chapter president and board director of the Chamber of Commerce, won the Business and Professional Award.
  • Alisa Kesten, executive director of Volunteer! New York, won the first Muriel Zaukas Woman of Outstanding Achievement award.
  • Amy Torigian-Parise, founder of Butterflies from Jodie, won the Community Outreach Award.

Chamber representatives along with state and local dignitaries also awarded Lina Arboleda, a student at the College of New Rochelle, the Young Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship.
