Future Society Prepares For 3rd Annual Globe Awards Dinner In New Rochelle

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Future Society, Inc. will be holding its 3rd Annual Globe Awards Dinner on Friday, Sept. 18, at The Davenport Club, where it will celebrate people and organizations who provide a positive influence for local youth.

The Davenport Club is at 400 Davenport Ave. in New  Rochelle.

The theme for the event will be "A Toast to our Trailblazers." Master of ceremonies will be Dominic Carter, political commentator at RNN-TV/Verizon FIOS News Channel.

The Future Society, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3, corporation established in Mount Vernon to provide mentoring activities for disadvantaged inner city youth and support mechanisms for their parents.

These are the honorees:

  • Aisha Arenas, The Future Society, Inc. volunteer, STAR Volunteer Globe Award;
  • Paul Roland, Unsung Globe Award;
  • Anthony Spillane, Maggie Spillane's Corporate Citizen Globe Award;
  • Terrie Williams, author, Visionary Globe Award.
