Lucianna Flanagan, 63, ESL Teacher of New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Lucianna M. Flanagan, 63, of New Rochelle, died April 21. 

She was born Dec. 26, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Alfonse and Rose Mercogliano DeMartino. Flanagan worked as an English-as-a-second-language teacher for the New York City Board of Education. She was a member of the Westchester Italian Cultural Center in Tuckahoe. 

Flanagan is survived by her husband, William; a daughter, Megan Flanagan; a sister, Rosemarie (Bob) Brickman; and a niece. 

Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck, N.Y. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church in New Rochelle. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y.
