NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – John Joseph Hume of New Rochelle died Friday, May 25. He was 87.

The son of Joseph and Bertha Hume, he was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Brooklyn. Hume served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was married to the late Florence Hume. 

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at George T. Davis Funeral Home in New Rochelle. A committal service will be held at noon Friday at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, N.Y.

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - Robert D. “Bob” Loreto, of Mission Viejo, Calif., a long-time resident of New Rochelle, died May 13.  He was 96.
