Irwin Staple, 83, New Rochelle Attorney

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Irwin Staple of New Rochelle died May 14 in White Plains. He was 83.

Staple was born Jan. 23, 1929 to Murray and Grace Derringer Staple in Brooklyn, N.Y. He worked as an attorney in New Rochelle.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; six daughters, Bunny (Steven), Jackie (Wayne), Anne, Vicki, Beth and Robin (Jim); a son, Mark (Elena); 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

A graveside funeral service was held Tuesday. Shiva will be observed from 12 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday at the homes of Gloria Staple and Mark Staple.

Riverside Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
