The seminars will take place at United Community Center of Westchester Inc., 360 North Ave. The seminars are part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s opportunity agenda for new Americans, which aims to help immigrants fully participate in New York state’s civic and economic life.
"Survey of Immigration Law" will take place Wednesday, July 22, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. "Family Based Immigration Law & Adjustment of Status Basics" will follow from 1:30-5:30 p.m.
"Immigration Consequences of Criminal Activity" will take place Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m.-noon, followed by "Immigration Remedies for Immigrant Victims of Crimes and Human Trafficking: U&T Status" from 1-3 p.m.
