NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Jacqueline E. Assogna, a resident of New Rochelle, died Feb. 8 after a long battle with cancer. She was 73.
Daughter of the late John and Geraldine Palmieri, she was born July 22, 1938 in Bronx, N.Y. Assogna worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses, including her husband's dental lab. An avid bowler and New York Yankess fan, she enjoying gardening, fishing and spending time at her summer home in Montauk, N.Y.
Assogna is survived by her husband of 53 years, Vincent, her sons Vincent and Mark, her daughters Denise and Jacqueline and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother John Palmieri.
