Barbara Wilcken, 65, New Rochelle Grocery Manager

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Barbara E. Wilcken, 65, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died April 15.  

Wilcken was born Nov. 24, 1946, in New York City to Barbara (Fehn) Wilcken and the late Alfred Wilcken. She worked for many years as a department manager for A&P Supermarket.  

She is survived by her life partner, Miguel, and a brother, Michael (Maxine) Wilcken. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard.  

Visiting hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
