Alice Viehmann, 74, Lifelong New Rochelle Resident

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Alice P. Viehmann, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died May 16. She was 74.

The daughter of James C. and Alice Murphy O’Toole, she was born March 10, 1938 in New Rochelle. Viehmann worked for the New York Telephone Co. for more than 25 years and was a member of their Pioneers Club.

Viehmann is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Michael) Gautieri; a son, James Dooley; two brothers, Peter and James O’Toole; a sister, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Webster; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Viehmann, in 1998.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
