BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Any way you flip it, the burger is one of America’s favorite foods.

The 8-ounce patty is prepared simply, but well at Squire's in Briarcliff Manor where folks say the sweet potato fries are "to die for."

Squire's, Briarcliff Manor

What Makes It Patty Perfect: Even despite the car crash that hit it earlier in the week (see previous Daily Voice story HERE), Squires is the worst-kept secret in Briarcliff. Tucked into the corner of a tiny strip mall, it's beloved by locals for its simple fare and hand-formed 8-ounce patty, cooked perfectly to order.

The more adventurous might want to try its Bavarian Burger, made with ham, Swiss cheese, and grain mustard on a pretzel roll or the North State Burger with brie, roasted red peppers and frizzled onions on a brioche bun. But lots of folks also go for the Cheese Supreme, which is topped with melted American, Swiss, cheddar, and mozzarella cheeses. It is also said that their sweet potato fries are to die for.
