More than 80 nativity scenes, or crèches, are on display in Nativity Scenes from the Americas, a showcase of the artistic talents of North and South American artists. Works range from as close to home as the U.S. to Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru and beyond. The artwork demonstrates the cultural diversity in representations of the Nativity in the Americas while also highlighting common features of a shared history.

The collection will be on display until Jan. 10, and is being curated by Dr. Nereida Segura-Rico. The nativities are part of the Kate Canty Crèche Collection, and have been generously donated by the Eileen and Jim Canty family.

The Castle Gallery is located within the Leland Castle, a magnificent 19th century castle located on the college's campus. Admission is free.
